I need your help...

Prisoners ask hard questions.....it's a good way to learn...just not while you are teaching the class!! I am studying my Bible, but I also want to hear what you think......
Matthew 19:9 NKJV "And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery; and whoever marries her who is divorced commits adultery."
Is divorce the sin or marrying someone else when you weren't divorced in the first place over your spouse's adultery the sin??
What about if you didn't know what the Bible says and you got divorced from your first spouse because you couldn't get along. After that you marry someone else and have a family and you are converted and you learn what the Bible says. What do you do?
I want to hear from you....
Thanks~

Day 5.....

Day 5 FLEW by!!!! It was our last day and we were at sea all day. We slept in and then went to eat. After we ate I went and sat out on the side of the boat and read my book. I was on my second book by then :) It was so nice and relaxing to just sit out there. I listened to people talk, watched the water and just relaxed. Dustin was walking around the boat and watching people and he would come and sit for a while.
We went to the show that night. It was "Extreme Country". The girl was really good, but the guy.....country is definitely not his style! They sang alot of Reba though so that made me happy :) The outfits were pretty scandalous though! I was a little bit shocked! We went to our last dinner with our friends and it was fun but sad at the same time! JiJi (our waitress) cried!!! And we all tipped her and she made in tips that night what she makes in a month!! She only makes $75 a month!!! It's crazy!!! But she does such a good job and seems to like it.
After dinner we stayed up as late as we could!!! We wanted to take it all in just one more time before we left!!! We ended up finally going to bed around 2!!! We out all of our luggage out that night so we wouldn't have to carry it ourselves......thank goodness!!! (I'm not a very good packer when I am going somewhere that I've been before but when I went somewhere that I didn't really know what to expect...I went a little crazy!!! I took WAY too many clothes! I definitely could have packed all of my stuff in one bag but instead, I took two suitcases!!! :) Oh well)
The next morning we got up and were out of the room by 8. We took advantage of our last meal on board the Holiday. I loved the breakfast every morning that we ate!! I had bagels, pancakes, cereal, bacon, fruit, and anything else I saw that I wanted!! :)
We just walked around after that and then they called us and it was time to get off the boat :(
By 9:30 that morning we were pulling out of the parking garage in Mobile! I was shocked by that! The whole debarkation process went by so fast!
Anyways, the cruise was wonderful!!! This was definitely not my last cruise! I loved it and would recommend it to everyone (just take plenty of medicine...in case you get seasick!) :)

I think I'm in L-O-V-E!!!!! Day 4

I can't believe that some of you call yourselves friends or family but you've been here and didn't tell me that it's more beautiful than I could have EVER imagined!!! I love everything about Cozumel! The water was the prettiest water I have EVER seen and we picked the BEST excursion that there was. Some would argue that getting off one boat to get on a smaller wouldn't be their pick but it was great!!

This was the view from the boat. I was giddy waiting to get off!!

We thought this was going to be our boat.....but we were wrong.

Can you tell from this picture how gorgeous that is?!?!?

I LOVE this movie :)

We had to take a little hike before we went on our excursion and there were all these boats and dune buggies just waiting to be rented. That would have been what we did if we hadn't already booked our excursion!

These were actually our boats :)

That's the one we were on.

George....the captain of our go fast boat.
The speed boats took us out to a private island. Before they dropped us off, they did all kinds of spins and 360 degree spins. (No, I didn't get seasick today) :)
Have you seen the Corona commercial where you don't ever see the people's faces, but you see their arms and they are looking out over the ocean and then the cell phone rings and one of them throws it into the ocean? THAT'S the private island we went to!!!!!!!!! (I'm still smiling and amazed that we got to go there!!)

This is the hut where they had our buffet set up...REAL mexican food. YUM!

Dustin's always making friends :)

:)

It really was just as relaxing as it looks!!

One of the three places I was while on the island...the other two....the buffet and the water trampoline (which I forgot to get a picture of! :( )

The next couple are the view from my hammock :)

The next few are the view of the buffet hut.

These were on the way back to the boat :)
Singing in the Rain anyone?!?!?

Walking back to the boat....the Carnival Inspiration had docked in Cozumel that day too. (Holiday on the left and Inspiration on the right)

Again...the water!!!!

Dustin liked this boat.

Have I mentioned the water?!?!

At dinner that night, JiJi got Mr. and Miss TN up dancing with her. It was pretty funny!

JiJi was pretty good :)

They were a little out of control and a little under the influence from their "all inclusive beach party"

JiJi was SO good!!! She was a great waitress...there was never a single problem with our food, and she ALWAYS called us by name!!! And she said she missed us when we weren't there. She was so nice! She is from Thailand and she makes so little money a month that you would be shocked!!! I was!!! But she was so nice and she cried on our last night!!! I'm glad I met her. :)

Ahhhh...what a nice way to end the day!!! :)

Day 3...Progreso, Mexico!!!! (LOTS of pictures!!)

Today we got off the boat and went into Progreso. It was SO nice to be off the boat!!! The day before of being seasick made me SO very happy to see dry land!! We had to take a shuttle bus into Progreso. We traveled down probably a five or six mile stretch that was completely cut off from the water by big concrete blocks. It looked very deserted and there were mouse trap houses everywhere!! Once we got into Progreso we walked through all the markets. We got a lot of good things and everything was just $10…including our massages on the beach!! They were just $10 for an hour!! I was shocked!! There was such a nice breeze there! It was probably hot but I didn’t seem to notice.
The vendors (beggars) were everywhere and they did what they are known for…begging!! You were assaulted at every turn. It didn’t take me turning around every time someone said “hey lady” before Dustin told me NOT to turn around every time they say it!! I’m a quick learner!!
On our way into town from the cruise, we passed a military man with his assault rifle!! I was very (scared...no, afraid...no) aware that he was there. I guess this is how people from other countries feel about the US and our soldiers, but for me to be on the other side of the coin was weird!!!
Progreso was nice, but I quickly learned that it was just a TASTE of what was to come!!! J

This old guy was the first act of the talent show that night. He came out in a bathrobe, white socks and black dress shoes. Under the robe he had white boxers and one of those white t-shirts that has the woman's body in a bikini spray painted on there. He saing Hello Dolly....unbelievable!!! :)

After dinner and the show

At dinner, the waiters and waitresses danced for us. They danced to Get Low....can you see the old lady at the left of the picture??? She got low and it was HILARIOUS!!!

More of the old lady gettin' low!

Mr. TN and Miss TN cracking up at the old lady!

Our waitress JiJi gettin low.

This was our other friend Kenny from the table next to us. He was here with Ben and Betty and he was hilarious! He got up and danced with JiJi and it was so funny!

Some of the loot....I got these for Leigh and Laurie and I just love them!! (Hope Laurie doesn't see this post before I get a chance to give her hers!)

We got this piggy bank for us to have. I just loved it!!! I think it kind of reminds me of Titus and some of the sad faces he makes!! :)

This is everything.....I love my bathing suit cover up!!

The Holiday waiting for us in Progreso!

The view of Progreso from the pier. So pretty!

This was the view from our massage tables!! :) That was probably the best deal of the day!!

Crazy iguana!!! (OR crazy woman...who can tell?!?!) :)

(When we got off the boat in Progreso, my camera lens fogged up.....I still like these next few pictures!!) They had to test the life boats and I just thought it was cool.

Not to mention that the water is just gorgeous!

No news is not necessarily good news....Day 2

Not much to report today except that I jinxed myself yesterday by saying no motion sickness. We slept in and I was SO happy when I woke up!!! I love not being woken up by an alarm clock! Well, I just lay around while we talked about what we wanted to do. I got up to take a shower and shave my legs….bad mistake! Dustin said it was something about having my eyes closed, bending down with my head below my heart, plain out sea sick….all I know is that I felt horrible! He got me a robe out of the closet and when I got out of the shower I collapsed on to the bed. He was finally able to convince me that I needed to get up, get dressed, get some sunshine and something to eat. (I tried looking out our window but it only made things worse.) We went up top to the Lido Deck and stayed for about 20 minutes. It really did make me feel better! By then Dustin was probably starving so we decided to go into the dining room. We both forgot that we were going to have to sit with people, and not even our regular table mates. Oh well! There was a group of 4 ladies and then a couple and a little boy. I sat in between the little boy and Dustin. Of everything on the menu, the only thing that sounded halfway appetizing (or that didn’t make me gag) was just a plain jane salad. I went with that and Dustin got sushi and spaghetti. I love soy sauce most of the time but something about the strong smell of that soy sauce sent me over the edge!!!
I jumped up and asked for the first restroom and it was down a floor and to the right…..Thank goodness the guy was coming out of the bathroom when he did! I had a Speedy moment… When I finally collected my thoughts and could think about leaving, I found the guy cleaning the restrooms and apologized….Aren’t I nice?!? HA!
I went back to the table and got Dustin….before we had talked about me feeling better….throwing up was at zero; not feeling like I can get out of bed, 2; feeling great, 10. I had to go back to the table and say I was officially at zero and I was leaving. He wasn’t going to let me go by myself so we both came back to the room. I put on my bathing suit and sunscreen and hit the door. I needed the sunshine and the feelings it brought earlier! I took my book and my iPod and I was fine! (Oh and a bunch of medicine… :) )

We did have our time of worship before I went upstairs....but I wasn't sure I could even keep down my communion!
Tonight was the dressy night at dinner so I wanted to go to that so when I came off the deck it was about 4. I was hungry (but scared to eat) but I needed to. We came back to the room and ordered room service…which I love!! It was just a turkey sandwich but my oh my!! :) I took some more medicine and decided I needed a nap so I would be able to make it to dinner and the show. We laid down and didn’t wake up until 8:05… :(

I had not done my hair all day so I couldn’t go into dinner looking awful so we decided we would just eat on the Lido Deck. I had fruit.
We walked around and watched everyone and then it was time for “Shout”. It was good. No real story, just songs but the music was good and the dancers were entertaining so it was fun. After that we walked around some more and watched a bunch of people playing Roulette and then went to the midnight buffet! I told Dustin that if I didn’t want to make history as the first person to ever lose weight on a cruise, I better eat at night if my mornings are going to be like this morning!!!! He said tomorrow won’t be that bad because we will be docked when we wake up.
Speaking of which, I am really excited about checking out Progreso! I hope it is as pretty as I have pictured! We didn’t plan an excursion….I didn’t really see any that looked appealing to us. We are just going to walk around and see what we find!!

This is the only picture from the day :(

Bon Voyage!!!!

(Saturday October 10, 2009)
Today we boarded the Holiday and we have mainly just spent the day seeing everything!!! It has been so much fun and so relaxing!!! I think I might become addicted, just like everyone said I would!! We are in room E31.

Missed the tugboats taking us away from the shore because we had to learn how to put on our life jackets....kind of scary for a first timer...but we lived :)
When we first got on the boat, I was intrigued…to say the least!! I don’t understand a lot about how the HUGE ship works!!! (And they tell me this is one of the smaller ones!!) Anyways, Dustin told me that the tugboats would pull us away from the docks. I was so excited!!! Who really gets to see tugboats in real life??? Well, the all ship meeting was scheduled for departure time. I missed the tugboats because everyone was trying on their life jackets! I’m glad I know how to use them though….at least partly.

The big blue and red thing at the top of Carnival ships are smokestacks….who knew?!?!
I NEVER knew that the big red and blue thing on the top of all the Carnival ships was a smokestack!!!! Am I the only one?!?!
Table mates…they are quite a crew!!!...TN, AgCroppers, and AL
So we were really nervous about the whole sharing a table thing….We walked in and we are table 207. We were guest numbers 5 and 6 to sit down at our 8 person table. At the end, across from each other, was a married couple from Alabama. They are not exactly what you would look at and think “country”, but I have never heard someone talk so country (and that's saying alot coming from my family!!! :) They were very quiet at dinner and pretty much kept to themselves….but we worked that out I think….(don't have their picture because they weren't there the night I thought to take my camera.)
Then, next to MRS. AL sits MISS TN and MR. TN. We recognized them because earlier they had asked where we found the food we were eating. We recognized them but they didn’t recognize us to begin with. They are very talkative and really nice. We are feeling really good about our table. So we are sitting across from Mr. and Miss TN.

The 2 remaining seats go to Mr. and Mrs. AgCroppers. They are a couple in their 60’s who are with a group of 4 more who will eventually come sit at the table right next to us. They are really nice.
MR. and MISS TN are quite the couple. I’ll try to hit the high points. They look to be about our age….they are here together….he’s being baptized next week…..he’s already saved, he just is getting baptized next week….he told us that in between sips from his beer and saying words that don’t come from people in my regular circle…and miss girlfriend is paying for his graduate degree?!?! Probably the funniest part was when we were talking about stuff that is going on tomorrow….she said, “how do you already know about tomorrow?” I told her that we left our room and when we went back the bed was turned down, there was the towel animal on the bed and the next day’s itinerary. MR. and MISS TN both thought the idea of them coming in and turning down the bed and making the towel animal was really cool……until they both looked at each and everyone else at the table could tell something was up. They both started laughing and then looked back at us and said “they turn down the beds?!” And then looked back at each other and said they were so embarrassed. The whole table started dying laughing!!! I’m not sure what they had in their bed…and I’m not sure I want to!!!! Anyways, to say the least….dinner time will always be full of surprises, I’m sure!! More pictures and stories about them to come :)

Here are some other highlights...
  • Food
    My oh my!!!!
Watermelon, pineapple, grapes, french fries, steak fries, rosemary seasoned potatoes, the best pork chop I’ve ever had, some good mac n cheese, chocolate chip cookies, strawberry new York cheesecake, strawberry ice cream, some kind of pasta, broccoli and cheese soup….and we’ve only been here half a day!!
  • Room service
Haven’t ordered it yet but looking forward to it!!!
  • No motion sickness….need I say more?!?!?
  • Window room and I love it!!
  • No watch….It’s very hard to keep up with what’s going on!!!! We both mainly use our cell phones for our watch so since we both left them in the car since we would have no service, we are a bit lost!!!
  • Turn down service and the animals – I do love the turndown service!!! Actually, I love for someone to come in and make my bed….and then later than night come turn down the sheets for me!!! And the animals are SO fun!!!
  • Tennessee won?!?! – I CANNOT believe TN won!!!! Laurie is probably going to send me on cruises all the time if it can help TN have such a huge win!!! :)

Tonight after dinner we went to the comedy show. Before they started, our cruise director, Tory, had some from the audience play a little game. They had 8 volunteers and they were going to each one and asking about them. They wanted to know their name, who they were cruising with and if there was a special occasion. Tory is from England. One of the volunteers was this big burly guy from Chattanooga. He talked really country and looked really country! Tory went to him first and asked him his name and who he was cruising with. He had a lot of trouble understanding her. Then after he said he was cruising with his wife, Tory asked if they were celebrating anything. Chattanooga said, “Yes. (long pause…), wait, what did you say?”. Tory gave up and walked to the next volunteer. It was hilarious!!! The game the volunteers had to play a game that was hilarious too!!!!

We stayed up late exploring the ship and made it to the midnight buffet. It was so good, but I'm beginning to expect it!!! Can't wait until tomorrow!!! :)
